The cake inside was supposed to be checker board. I had a silly complicated pan and everything... It didn't quite bake how I wanted it to so it turned into chocolate swirl, but it was delicious anyway. I think with THIS PAN set you need to make a thicker homemade type cake batter to make it work out correctly. I didn't do that, I just used boxed mixes.
