August 4, 2012 was a beautiful day for a wedding.
I had the privilege to make the wedding cake for a friend for her special day.
I really loved making this cake. I was given an exaple of what it should look like and she and I cooraborated to make it her own.
First of all, if there is sewing involved in making a cake you know it’s going to be awesome:
Next, design is important. The middle layer of this cake was to have frosted “lace”:
Pretty isn’t it. There are all sorts of subliminal messages in the frosting.
